Boys soccer

Varsity boys soccer started out their ISSTs with a 3-0 loss to ACS Cobham.  Later in the day, the team played the International School of Brussels and won 2-0.  

Varsity boys soccer had a tough second day at ISSTs drawing their first game 2-2 against Frankfurt International School (FIS).  This draw knocked them out of the semi-final. They then lost 2-1 to Munich International School (MIS).

Varsity boys soccer had an unsuccessful final day of ISSTs losing 4-3 to the International School of the Hague.  The team finished eighth overall in the tournament.

Jonathan Novak (’20) was selected for the all-tournament team.

Girls Soccer

Varsity girls soccer began their quest for gold with a 2-0 win against Zurich International School.  After that, they beat the International School of Brussels 5-1.

Varsity girls soccer had a successful second day of ISSTs beating MIS 1-0 to make it through to the semi-final against ISH.  The Eagles beat ISH 4-0 to advance to the final.

Varsity girls soccer lost in penalty kicks against ACS Cobham. They won silver in the tournament.

Kira Cascarino (’20) and Anna Kim (’22) were selected for the all-tournament team.

Boys Volleyball

Varsity boys volleyball started their ISSTs with a 2-0 win against ACA Athens and a 2-0 win against American School of Paris.  

Varsity boys volleyball beat Vienna International School 2-1 in their first game of the second day.  They then lost to FIS 2-1 then beat MIS 2-0 to put them in the semi-final against FIS. They lost 3-0 to FIS.

Varsity boys volleyball finished their ISSTs with a 3-0 win against Munich International School.  The team won bronze in the tournament.

Jon Bianco Burril (’20) was selected for the all-tournament team.

Girls Volleyball

Varsity girls volleyball began their tournament with a 3-0 win against Frankfurt International School.

Varsity girls volleyball had a successful second day beating Zurich International School 3-0, then beating the International School of Brussels 3-0 which put them in the semi-finals.  In the semi-finals, they beat the American School of The Hague 3-0.

Varsity girls volleyball finished with a 2-1 loss against ACS Cobham in the final, so they finished winning silver in the tournament.

Lindsay Harris (’20) was selected for the all-tournament team.

Field Hockey

Varsity field hockey began their ISSTs with a 3-0 loss to the International School of the Hague.  Later in the day, the Eagles lost 7-0 to the British School of the Netherlands and 8-0 to the International School of Brussels.  

Varsity field hockey finished fourth in their tournament.  They lost 5-0 to the British School of Netherlands in the semi-final. The Eagles then lost 4-0 to the International School of Brussels.

Cross Country

The cross country team raced at Zurich International School for ISSTs, placing fourth overall. They battled challenging conditions as they ran in rain and 40 F weather.

The varsity girls cross country team won gold, with Madeleine Ashton (’21) placing 6th and Maddy Whitman (’22) winning bronze.

On the boys’ side, Lorenzo Collier (’22) led the team to 7th place with a 16th place finish.
