Four teams competed in the Quiz Bowl semifinals Jan. 14.

The winning teams of Connor Eaton (’21), Ethan Otero (’21), and Rohit Venuturupalli (’21) and the team of Laura Boyle (’20), Jonathan Novak (’20), and Lucas Romualdo (’20) will compete during Friday’s assembly during conference time.

Markos Glucksman (’20), whose team did not win, said that he was disappointed about losing.

However, he did some light preparation for the competition

“I had a nice night’s sleep and tried to meditate before,” he said.

Friday’s winning team will go on to contest against other schools Feb. 7 in the annual London schools quiz bowl tournament held at ASL.
