The ASL Investment Club will host a talk with Head of Markets at Citibank Dr. Andrew Morton after school Feb. 1. Morton will be discussing his career and Citibank’s investment outlook before the group moves into a Q&A session.

The ASL Investment Club, led by Chairman Jeh Vandrevala (’21), will host a Zoom discussion 4 p.m.  Feb. 1 with Head of Markets at Citibank, the consumer division of Citigroup, Dr. Andrew Morton.

Prior to joining Citigroup in 2008, Morton spent 15 years at Lehman Brothers, where he held positions, such as the Global Head of Fixed Income, in New York and London.

Vandrevala said attendees of the Zoom discussion will learn a lot from Morton.

“Participants would greatly benefit from hearing from Dr. Andrew Morton to not only acquire a greater understanding of financial markets, but also understand the academic requirements of those in the field of mathematical finance,” he said.

Despite the meeting taking place over Zoom, Vandrevala said the flow of the meeting will follow that of any in-person speaker event, in which an expert presents about their field before moving into a Q&A session.

“We will be discussing Dr. Morton’s career and Citi’s investment outlook, then moving into some Q&A,” he said.

If you would like to attend, email Vandrevala for the Zoom link.
