Boris Johnson announces non-elite sports to resume March 29 in a press conference held Feb. 23. Students have wondered all school year when the return of sports would be, and for the first time in months, there is a set date.

As students returned to school after two months of distance learning, one question quickly arose: what about sports?

Since the recent success and quick distribution of vaccines, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has stated this could potentially be the last lockdown for the U.K. Following the return of professional and school-related sports, other non-elite sports are set to resume March 29.

With this in mind, four student-athletes share advice regarding their specific sport, reflect on how they have coped with lockdown and wonder about the future prospects yet to come.
