GALLERY Class of 2025 participates in Kindergarten, Grade 12 Walk-In

The all-school welcome assembly took place Aug. 30, featuring the Kindergarten and Grade 12 Walk-In. The assembly also included a speech from Head of School Matthew Horvat and a performance by the employee choir.

Tristan Barre (’25), Sherine Wright (’25), Solei Neal-Brown (’25) and Sophia Iannazzo (’25) walk into the Farmer Family Gym with their assigned kindergarten students Aug. 30. Neal-Brown said the tradition helped her grasp that it is her final year at the school.

“I've seen it [the tradition] so many times, so it kind of made the idea of being a senior real,” Neal-Brown said.

Laila Taraporevala (’26) is the Photography Editor of The Standard. She began journalism as an editor of the Middle School newspaper, The Scroll and joined The Standard in Grade 9. Taraporevala has a passion for sports stories, profiles and photography. Outside of the newsroom, she is a competitive dance soloist and co-leader of a community partnership. She loves baking, strength training and long walks with music.
