Michael Flaherty

Michael Flaherty, Sports Editor: Online Emeritus

Michael Flaherty (’20) is the Sports Editor: Online Emeritus of The Standard. Flaherty has been on the staff since freshman year. He is from Boston and follows the Red Sox, the Patriots, and the Boston Celtics. He also is a student-athlete, participating in soccer, basketball, and baseball.

Matthew Pope (20) swings at a pitch during Baseball ISSTs at Canons Park May 30. The boys varsity team won the gold medal for the fourth consecutive year in 2019. Pope had won three of those gold medals as a freshmen, sophomore and junior but wont be able to play this year because spring ISSTs were canceled by the participating schools.
