AI Statement

All content published on all platforms of The Standard is created entirely by the publication’s staff and contributors. The Standard staff members are expected to cite credible and specific sources in their work. Staff members may choose to use information given by AI as a source of inspiration; however, they are not permitted to cite it as a source. All writing is produced directly by staff and contributors without the use of AI tools. Furthermore, the use of AI to generate, manipulate and/or publish visuals including photographs, illustrations and other forms of artwork for  The Standard is prohibited. The Standard’s strict policy on AI promotes honest reporting, authentic storytelling and student creativity.
