Byline Policy

Most stories selected for publication in The Standard will contain a byline. Exceptions include editorials. Some news briefs may also not earn a byline. If staff members contribute to the story by gathering information they will be credited at the bottom of the piece with ([Insert name and title] contributed to reporting). Any staff member who edits a piece of another member of staff will not be credited.
